Job summary

Hightemp Furnaces Limited in India is seeking a PLC Programmer/Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming, automation, commissioning and troubleshooting. You will be responsible for PLC/HMI/VFD programming, on-site installation, and equipment handover.

The role requires strong problem-solving, good communication with customers, and willingness to travel to client sites for commissioning and service activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in engineering required.
• 2–3 years of PLC programming, automation and commissioning experience.
• Based in Sanand, Gujarat; willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, program, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and VFD systems.
• Program PLCs using Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Allen Bradley software.
• Troubleshoot PLC-related issues and ensure smooth machine operation.
• Perform erection, installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Carry out machine testing and commissioning during start-up.
• Maintain records of breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers during installations.
• Travel to customer sites for commissioning and service activities.

We are looking for a PLC Programmer / Engineer with 2 - 3 years of experience in PLC programming, automation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. The candidate will be responsible for PLC/HMI/VFD programming, machine troubleshooting, customer site visits, installation, commissioning, and equipment handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, program, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and VFD systems.
• Work on PLC programming software such as Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Allen Bradley.
• Troubleshoot PLC-related issues and ensure smooth machine operation.
• Handle Analog and Digital Inputs/Outputs (I/O).
• Understand customer requirements and coordinate to ensure appropriate technical solutions.
• Conduct erection, installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance activities at customer sites.
• Carry out machine testing and troubleshooting during commissioning.
• Perform site validation and equipment handover to customers.
• Maintain records related to machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers during installation and commissioning activities.
• Travel to customer sites as required for commissioning, maintenance, and service activities.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, and VFD.
• Hands-on experience with Mitsubishi / Siemens / Allen Bradley PLC programming.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Analog and Digital I/O.
• Experience in machine installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
• Good customer communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
