Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in India invites experienced professionals for PLC and SCADA programming and control systems integration. You will perform site visits, develop PLC code (Ladder, ST, FBD) and GUI components for SCADA, and calibrate field sensors and drives across projects.

The role requires familiarity with Codesys, TIA Portal, Studio 5000, WinCC and FactoryTalk, plus strong analytical and communication skills. Collaborative, cross-functional work environment with budgetary involvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in PLC & SCADA programming.
• Understanding of P&IDs and control systems.
• Site visits based on project requirements.
• SCADA development and GUI scripting.
• Experience with Profibus, Modbus and CAN.
• Familiar with Codesys, TIA Portal and Studio 5000 PLCs.
• Experience with WinCC and FactoryTalk SCADA/HMI.
• Calibration of field sensors, drives and motors.
• Involvement in budgeting and procurement.
• Strong analytical, integration and debugging skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC/SCADA solutions for assigned projects.
• Perform site visits to gather requirements and verify installation.
• Create PLC programs (Ladder, ST, FBD) and SCADA GUI components.
• Configure field devices, sensors, drives and motors.
• Assist budgeting and procurement of project resources.
• Debug, validate and integrate control systems across platforms.
• Collaborate with electrical, instrumentation and software teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and test plans.

• Experience in PLCs & SCADA tools from ABB, Siemens, Rockwell, etc
• Understanding of Controls and automation invovled in plant process
• Experience in calibration of field sensors, drives, motors, pumps,etc
• Involvement in budgeting and procurement of project related resources
• Good analytical, integration and debugging skills are necessary
• Very Good oral and written communication and multitasking skills are expected
