Job summary

DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC in India seeks an experienced PLC/SCADA engineer to lead automation projects. You will program PLCs, develop SCADA interfaces, and ensure integration with control systems across sites.

The role requires 6–10 years of experience, strong communication, and hands-on expertise with industrial automation tools and protocols. Travel to project sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLC & SCADA programming and systems integration.
• Understanding of P&IDs and control systems.
• Site visits as per project requirements.
• Proficient in PLC programming languages and related software.

Responsibilities

• Lead PLC programming and ladder logic for automation projects.
• Develop SCADA GUIs and configure SCADA databases.
• Implement Profibus, Modbus, and CAN communications.
• Utilize Codesys, TIA Portal, and Studio 5000 in projects.
• Work with WinCC and FactoryTalk SCADA/HMI software.
• Support calibration of field sensors, drives, motors, and pumps.
• Participate in budgeting and procurement related to resources.
• Provide strong analytical, integration, and debugging skills.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, across teams.
