Job description

The Plastic Surgeon will be responsible for managing trauma, hand surgery, reconstructive procedures, fillers, cosmetic care, and plastic surgery consultation across Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, or Hyderabad locations. This requires MBBS, MS General Surgery, and MCh Plastic Surgery qualification with 1–4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients requiring reconstructive, cosmetic, trauma, wound, or hand surgery care.
• Plan surgical or non-surgical treatment based on clinical condition and patient needs.
• Perform or assist in plastic and reconstructive surgeries as per hospital protocol.
• Manage trauma cases, soft tissue injuries, hand injuries, scars, defects, burns, and aesthetic concerns.
• Coordinate with orthopedics, general surgery, dermatology, anesthesia, OT, ICU, and nursing teams.
• Monitor post-operative recovery, wound healing, graft/flap condition, and complications.
• Maintain operative notes, consent forms, procedure records, and discharge documentation.
• Counsel patients regarding procedure options, risks, expectations, and recovery.
• Follow surgical safety, infection control, wound care, and ethical practice standards.
• Support emergency reconstructive care and trauma-related surgical planning.
• Maintain confidentiality and patient-centered communication.
• Ensure safe, functional, and aesthetic surgical outcomes.
