Job summary

Avalon Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled plastics engineer to lead design reviews and DFMs for engineering and high-performance plastics.

You will develop and optimize injection moulding processes, troubleshoot defects, run T0/T1 trials, and support PPAP activities while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Experience with PEEK, PPS, and CAD tools like SolidWorks, CATIA or NX, plus knowledge of GD&T and DOE, is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in plastic product design, DFM, injection moulding, and NPD.
• Strong knowledge of engineering plastics (PEEK, PPS, PPA, PA, PBT, POM, PC, PES).
• Familiarity with GD&T, DOE, SPC, 5 Why, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with SolidWorks, CATIA or NX.

Responsibilities

• Lead plastic component design reviews and DFM activities.
