Job summary

THERMAX in Pune requires an experienced Plant Supervisor to manage daily operations of an STP/SBR plant. You will oversee plant operations, supervise operators and technicians, manage manpower and shift schedules, and ensure safe, efficient performance.

The role demands hands-on knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, equipment such as pumps, blowers and valves, and the ability to coordinate with maintenance and client-site teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in STP/SBR plant operation.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Plant Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of an STP/SBR Plant. The candidate will be responsible for plant operations, manpower management, shift scheduling, process monitoring and ensuring smooth and safe plant functioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily STP/SBR plant operations.
• Monitor SBR process cycles including aeration, settling and decanting.
• Manage plant manpower and prepare shift schedules.
• Supervise Operators, Technicians and Helpers.
• Monitor pumps, blowers, motors, valves and other plant equipment.
• Maintain daily operational records, log sheets and shift reports.
• Monitor plant parameters and ensure smooth plant performance.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdown and preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working practices at the plant.
• Coordinate with the client/site team for operational requirements.
• Identify operational issues and take necessary corrective actions.Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and PPE requirements.
