Job summary

THERMAX in Pune invites applications for a Plant Operator to support day-to-day operations of ETP/RO/WTP plants. Freshers or candidates with 0–1 year of experience are welcome, with ITI/Diploma/B.Sc./M.Sc. qualifications preferred. Immediate joiners or within 15 days are favored.

The role requires basic knowledge of water and wastewater treatment, operation of pumps, motors and blowers, and adherence to safety norms. Accommodation and canteen facilities are provided at the site.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma / B.Sc. / M.Sc. qualification.
• 0 to 1 year of experience in Water & Wastewater Treatment / ETP / RO / WTP operations.
• Basic knowledge of ETP, RO and WTP processes; basic knowledge of pumps, motors and blowers; basic awareness of industrial safety norms.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ETP / RO / WTP plant operations.
• Monitor plant parameters and ensure smooth plant operation.
• Handle and monitor basic operation of pumps, motors and blowers.
• Maintain daily plant operating records and log sheets.
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working practices.
• Report equipment abnormalities or process-related issues to the supervisor.
• Follow all applicable health, safety and environmental norms.
