Job summary

Gram Envosolution is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, execute, monitor, and complete water and wastewater treatment projects. The role covers overall project coordination, site execution, manpower management, client liaison, and adherence to safety, quality, and budget constraints.

Based in Coimbatore with site travel as required, you will lead cross-functional teams and ensure timely project completion and handover, while maintaining high standards of documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Experience in water/wastewater treatment projects (STP/ETP/WTP/RO/ZLD) is preferred.
• Strong planning, coordination, and team management skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and project specifications.
• Good communication and client-handling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects from start to completion and handover.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Design, Procurement, Production, Site, O&M, and Accounts.
• Prepare schedules, execution plans, and material requirements.
• Monitor progress and take corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee site activities and ensure execution per drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors.
• Review civil/mechanical/electrical/interface activities.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and manpower are available on site.
• Control project costs and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Identify risks and provide timely solutions; conduct reviews and reporting.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and final handover; maintain docs.

JOB DESCRIPTION PROJECT MANAGER

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Project Manager to plan, execute, monitor, and successfully complete water and wastewater treatment projects. The candidate will be responsible for overall project coordination, site execution, manpower management, client coordination, quality, safety, cost, and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects from project commencement through completion and handover.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Design, Procurement, Production, Site, O&M, and Accounts teams.
• Prepare project schedules, execution plans, manpower requirements, and material requirements.
• Monitor project progress against approved timelines and take corrective action when required.
• Manage project site activities and ensure proper execution as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Review and monitor civil, mechanical, electrical, piping, instrumentation, and installation activities.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and manpower are available at site as per project requirements.
• Monitor project costs, resource utilization, and avoid unnecessary expenses.
• Ensure work is carried out as per company quality standards and project specifications.
• Identify project risks, delays, technical issues, and execution challenges and provide timely solutions.Conduct regular site/project review meetings and submit progress reports to management.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, trial runs, and final project handover.
• Ensure proper documentation including drawings, reports, checklists, measurements, and handover documents.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions at project sites.
• Manage site engineers, supervisors, technicians, operators, contractors, and other project manpower.
• Support the management in achieving project targets and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, STP, ETP, WTP, RO, ZLD, or environmental projects.
• Strong project planning, execution, coordination, and team management skills.
• Good knowledge of site execution and project documentation.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and project specifications.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Willingness to travel and stay at project sites as required.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, AutoCAD, and project reporting tools is preferred.
