Job summary

Conversehr Business Solutions in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to supervise installation, erection and commissioning of STPs/WWTPs and to lead site teams.

The role involves executing MBBR/SBR/MBR projects, interpreting drawings with clients, ensuring on-time delivery, and managing O&M activities across locations with travel to Telangana and Chennai.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/BTech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in project execution of water/wastewater treatment plants.
• Hands-on experience in installation/commissioning of MBBR/SBR/MBR-based plants.
• Strong experience in STP/WWTP O&M.
• Experience managing multiple projects and site teams.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Telangana and Chennai.
• Strong communication, coordination and customer-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, erection and commissioning of STPs/WWTPs.
• Execute projects involving MBBR, SBR and MBR technologies.
• Interpret process and civil drawings with clients and design teams.
• Ensure project execution per schedule, quality and safety standards.
• Lead and manage local site teams for timely delivery.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, consultants, contractors and clients.
• Conduct site kick-off meetings and communicate execution plans.
• Manage O&M activities of water/wastewater plants.
• Supervise operators and maintenance teams; ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
• Develop O&M schedules and monitor preventive/corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and plant breakdowns.
• Prepare and review O&M reports, performance analyses and maintenance records.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor equipment performance.
• Build and maintain strong client/customer relationships.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously across assigned locations.
