Job summary

Visaka Industries in Vijayawada, AP, invites an Officer/Sr. Officer-Purchase with 5–10 years of plant purchase experience. You will handle vendor development, price negotiations, and ensure timely procurement to support uninterrupted production.

The role requires strong MS Excel skills, familiarity with SAP/Oracle, and effective coordination with production and maintenance teams. Fluency in English and local language is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in plant/factory purchase.
• Cost comparison statements preparation.

• GST taxes and duties knowledge for procurement.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; SAP/Oracle experience.

• Preparation of MIS reports in line with the requirements of the dept.
• Maintaining and Reviewing Records of Bought Items.

Job Specification

• Analyze applicability and impact of taxes (GST) and duties on procurement items with respect to different sourcing locations.
• Basic knowledge of transport, insurance & Supplier Market.
• Excellent command on MS office, especially MS Excel & SAP/Oracle.
• Good in Planning, Time Management and Organizing skills.
• Good Team Player & Hard working.
• Experience in any manufacturing industries is added advantage.
• Good in written and oral communication in local language & English.
