• Experience in MRO procurement, civil/mechanical/AMC/ARC, and vendor negotiations.
• Knowledge of SAP MM, ARIBA e-procurement, and P2P cycle.
• Ability to assess supplier capability and ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery.

• Timely and cost‑effective procurement of MRO items and related services.
• Finalize services and contractor agreements with safety and compliance.
• Float RFQs, compare offers, raise approval notes in SAP, and issue POs/Contracts.
• Negotiate with vendors and finalize purchase orders per SOP.
• Track orders and ensure on‑time delivery; coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
• Develop alternate vendors and annual rate contracts to reduce lead time and cost.
• Maintain supplier data and prepare monthly MIS reports.

Reporting to:

Lead –Procurementand Stores

Purpose:

Toperform services related to timelyprocurementprocessing so thatgoods and services are procured in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Responsibility:

• Timely andcost-effectiveprocurementof MRO items - capital goods/ engineering goods/spares/consumables and services which meets quality standards and dailyrequirements of industry.
• Finalization of services like especially civil,mechanical, AMC / ARC , breakdown /shutdown, manpower based on minimum wages etc. by ensuring Contractor safetymanagement standard & compliances.
• Float RFQ , collecting offers from suppliers, preparation ofcomparison statement, raising approval note in SAP system and preparation ofpurchase order and contracts.
• Negotiate with vendors and finalize the purchaseorder as per predefined SOP .
• Track order and ensuring of timely delivery ofmaterials.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams for supplychain activities – following up with vendors for on time delivery andresolution of any urgency and payment release in time.
• Reduce overall cost by developing alternatevendors and OEM substitutions.
• Develop annual rate contracts for regularconsuming goods and spares to have economical advantage and reduced leadtime.
• Maintain supplier data and preparation of monthlyMIS reports.
• Knowledge of specific SAP modules such as SAP MM ( Materials Management )
• Familiarity with ARIBA’s e-procurementfunctions, such assupplier management, sourcing, purchase order management, and invoicereconciliation.

EducationalQualification:

BE/ B-Tech Mechanical or any other discipline

Years ofExperience:

6 to10 years of experience in similar capacity

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of SAP .
• Knowledge of P2P Cycle.
• Knowledge of AMC and ARC .
• Ability to assess supplier capability.
• Knowledge of Slow moving, non-moving andfast-moving goods, etc.
• Knowledge of taxation rules, minimum wages, etc.
