Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. in Haryana invites applications for a JE/SE role focused on procurement and store operations. You will manage indirect consumables, material receiving/issuing via maintenance, and SAP Hana processes (PO, GRN, inspection) to support production and maintenance needs.

The ideal candidate has a diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics with hands-on procurement experience and strong knowledge of SAP Hana, SAP Ariba, and MS Office.

• Process skills in SAP Hana receiving/issuing.

Responsibilities

• Procurement and storage of indirect consumables.
• Material receiving and issue online as per maintenance requirement.
• Regular updates to management on inventory level, perpetual inventory, and production.
• Monitoring production processes to meet timely completion of requirements within budget.
• Ensuring requisite availability of material, manpower, and equipment.
• Compliance with material planning and procurement rules, environmental compliance included.
• Negotiation with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
• Receipt and approval of parts and services per procurement guidelines.
• Performing risk assessment on potential contracts with suppliers.
• Preparing yearly budget: revenue and capital.
• Responsible for PO creation, GRN, quality inspection, and material distribution in SAP Hana.
• Responsible for discussing IT system issues with concerned department.
• 100% budget utilization on a quarterly basis.
• Item code creation as per requirement.
• Handling department admin related responsibilities.
• Prepare the inventory and submit to management on a quarterly basis.
• Arrange material from other plant during breakdown.
• Responsible for RGP Tracking in SAP Hana.

• In-depth knowledge of preparing & reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms as per procurement guidelines.
• Knowledge of machine maintenance.
• Sound knowledge of P2P process.
• Knowledge of PR creation and RFQ process in SAP Ariba.
