Job summary

HypTechie in India is seeking a Plant Planning professional to synchronize production, materials, and capacity planning across departments. The role involves deploying MPCP objectives and driving cross-functional projects to optimize costs, inventory, and lead times.

You will coordinate annual planning and ensure alignment with leadership and multiple functions such as production, quality, maintenance, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Establish a robust plant planning mechanism to ensure synchronized production, materials, and capacity planning across departments.
• Deploy and monitor MPCP and key objectives across production, maintenance, materials, and logistics sections to ensure alignment with plant goals.
• Conduct data analytics to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas of critical improvement within the plant operations; lead action plans for resolution.
• Drive key plant-level initiatives and cross-functional projects aligned with organizational priorities (e.g., cost reduction, inventory optimization, lead time improvement).
• Coordinate the development of the annual plant plan, including capacity, material, and manpower planning; consolidate inputs and present to plant leadership for alignment and approval.
• Ensure effective communication and alignment of plant-level objectives with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain.
• Collaborate with section heads and key stakeholders to ensure timely execution of planned activities and achievement of plant performance metrics.
• Establish robust feedback mechanisms and early warning systems to proactively address deviations from production and planning targets.
• Drive adherence to an effective and structured review system to track progress, highlight issues, and elevate risks in a timely manner.
