Job summary

Aquatechnics Water Treatment Technologies (P) Ltd. seeks an experienced field service professional for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of RO, WTP, ETP, and STP systems in Bengaluru and nearby sites.

You will handle plumbing/electrical cabling, site coordination, troubleshooting, and on-site training for plant operators. Travel to customer sites is required; strong diagnostics and customer-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• ITI in Plumbing or Electrical or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or related field.
• 15 years of relevant experience in RO/WTP/ETP/STP installation, commissioning, operation or maintenance preferred.
• Practical knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, piping, dosing systems, filtration, RO systems, and wastewater treatment equipment.
• Basic ability to read P&ID, mechanical and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of RO, WTP, ETP, and STP plants.
• Carry out plumbing and electrical cabling jobs; coordinate installation, erection and commissioning activities.
• Attend customer sites for preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance; provide timely technical support.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of RO, WTP, ETP, and STP plants.
• Should be able to carry out plumbing & Electrical Cabling jobs,
• Coordinate Installation, Erection & Commissioning activities
• Attend customer sites for preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance.
• Troubleshoot pumps, motors, valves, dosing systems, filters, membranes, blowers, control panels, and associated equipment.
• Support plant start-up, trial runs, performance monitoring, and optimization.
• Attend customer complaints and provide timely technical support.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, checklists, and site observations.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, and service teams for site requirements.
• Guide and train plant operators on basic operation and maintenance practices.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure proper use of PPE and tools.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

Preferred candidate profile

• ITI in Plumbing / Electrical / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or a related technical field.
• 15 years of relevant experience in RO/WTP/ETP/STP installation, commissioning, operation, or maintenance preferred.
• Practical knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, piping, dosing systems, filtration, RO systems, and wastewater treatment equipment.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project/service team.
• Willingness to undertake frequent field travel.
• Freshers with relevant technical qualifications and a strong interest in field service may also be considered.
