Licious, a Bengaluru-based meat and seafood company, seeks a supervisor to oversee poultry slaughter and primary processing operations, ensuring food safety and efficient production.

You will monitor line performance, coordinate with procurement to match live bird arrivals with capacity, and drive yield optimization while ensuring OTIF compliance across the plant.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./Diploma in Poultry/B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology, Poultry Science, or related field.
• 2-4 years in poultry slaughter or processing operations, preferably with exposure to Chilled product manufacturing.
• Operational understanding of poultry slaughter and primary processing systems.
• HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on approach to line operations and workforce management.
• Analytical ability for yield tracking and process optimization.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Supervise all slaughter line operations – bird reception, stunning, bleeding, scalding, defeathering, and evisceration – ensuring adherence to defined process and food safety standards.
• Monitor chilling, grading, and frozen packing areas to maintain process integrity and minimize product loss.
• Ensure production targets are met as per the daily plan released by the central planning team.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to align live bird arrivals with plant loading capacity.
• Ensure timely dispatch to meet OTIF compliance.
