Job summary

Hammond Power Solutions India is seeking an experienced Plant Manager at our Hyderabad facilities. You will lead plant operations, drive productivity, manage daily production activities, and coordinate with engineering, materials, and QA to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets.

The ideal candidate has 15–20 years in the transformer sector, with 132 kV exposure, and holds an Electrical/Mechanical engineering degree; a master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical; master’s preferred.
• 15–20 years experience in transformer industry.
• Experience with 132 kV voltage class.
• Strong leadership, integrity, diplomacy and emotional intelligence.
• Fluent in English and Hindi; Telugu as local language.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for plant operation and productivity.
• Ensure manufacturing processes, on-time delivery, cost, quality, safety targets aligned with specifications.
• Oversee day-to-day production management and internal processes for maximum productivity.
• Generate daily and weekly plans based on planning inputs.
• Identify bottlenecks for monthly forecast plans and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to reduce waste and costs.
• Monitor production performance against forecasts and take corrective actions.
• Implement Manufacturing Operating System (MOS) consistently.
• Identify root causes for NCRs and ensure corrective actions.

1. Responsible for plant operation and productivity.

2. Ensures all manufacturing processes and production work and facilitates on-time delivery, cost, quality performance of work force and safety goals are met as per the organization specification.

Qualifications and Skills:

14. Engineering Degree in Electrical or Mechanical and/or equivalent, Preferable a master’s degree in engineering or management.

15. Experience in Transformers Industry and Should have experience of voltage class 132kV

16. 15-20 years’ experience in related fields in transformer industry

17. Commanding, credibility, integrity, discretion, diplomacy, flexibility, emotional intelligence.

18. Extroverted with good communication skills and interpersonal skills.

19. Telugu local language is required along with fluency in English & Hindi.
