Job summary

accountingbaba.com is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to run a single PET recycling plant in Surat, Gujarat, overseeing operations across departments and resolving issues to ensure smooth production.

The role requires 8+ years total experience with 3+ years as Plant Head/Plant Manager, experience managing 200+ staff, and a background in dyeing & printing or related industries. Advanced Excel is mandatory. INR 15-18 LPA, reports to MD/Director.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall plant operations and coordinate Maintenance, Quality, Stores & Dispatch, Safety & EHS and Purchase / Procurement.
• Act as the point of escalation for any departmental issue and resolve it to keep operations running.
• Manage vendors and contractors.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure dispatch commitments are met.
• Ensure pollution control and ETP / environmental compliance.
• Manage statutory audits and factory licences.
• Plan and execute capex projects and plant expansion.
• Prepare and present MIS reports to the MD / Director.

About the Company Our client is a leading PET recycling (rPET) manufacturer that converts post-consumer PET bottles into hot-washed PET flakes and recycled chips and granules for food and non-food applications.

Location: Mangrol, Near Panoli, Surat, Gujarat

Reports to: Managing Director / Director

Compensation: INR 15 - 18 LPA

Experience: 8+ years total, including 3+ years as Plant Head / Plant Manager

Industry: Dyeing & printing (preferred); textile processing, plastics / polymers, chemicals and recycling also considered
