Job summary

Samvith Technologies in Hindupur is seeking a Sr. Manager / Manager / Lead Plant Maintenance to head the maintenance function for precision engineered components.

You will coordinate TPM activities, supervise a maintenance team, and ensure machine uptime aligns with production schedules. The role requires hands-on experience with CNC, Robotic welding, utilities, and SAP, with a focus on 5S, Kaizen, EHS, and ISO systems.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a maintenance department in a precision engineering setup.
• Hands-on with TPM, TPM concepts and maintenance planning.
• Knowledge of safety, ISO systems, 5S, Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Must handle the Dept activities independently.
• Ensure breakdowns are addressed as a top priority to keep production running.
• Conduct team meetings with CFT and drive TPM activities.
• Lead safety initiatives, 5S and continuous improvement to improve machine uptime.
• Collaborate with Production to drive TPM and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Engage in HIRA planning and adhere to schedules.

Position - Sr.Manager / Manager / Lead Plant Maintenance

Location -Hindupur

Reporting to -Head Operations

Eligibility criteria for Internal applicants:

Minimum 5 years experience required in the current role (mandatory)

Precision engineering/ Hydraulics manufacturing companies.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineer with around 10 yrs- 15yrs OR DME with around 15yrs-20yrs work experience.
• Should have sound knowledge in Managing the maintenance dept of Precision Engineered Components in Hydraulics.
• Hands on knowledge on Maintenance of Precision Machines like CNC Turning, Skiving and Burnishing, Assembly lines, Manual Welding, Robotic welding, VTL, VMCEtc .
• Should have hands on experience in maintenance of Utilities, DG, Compressors, Forklifts, EOT & KBK cranes.
• Very thorough knowledge in TPM.
• Should have the knowledge on EHS, ISO System & its requirements,5S, Kaizen, POKA YOKE, Visual Controls Etc.,
• Handling of the Unionized workforce.
• Should have good interpersonal skills, teamwork, Connect with CFT and respond with urgency
• Should have knowledge and experience in MTR, MTBF and OEE.
• Should have hands-on experience on Managing the spare parts for Maintenance.
• Hands on exposure in documentation and in SAP.
• Hands on experience in maintaining work instructions and skill matrix at dept.
• Planning of Preventive maintenance .

POSITION DETAILS

• Must handle the Dept activities independently.
• Ensure the breakdown is corrected as the topmost priority and ensure the production line runs smoothly to meet the commitment and customer requirements.
• Conduct the team meeting with CFT.
• Must lead from the front to ensure the Safety at plant continues improvement ,5S and. maintain and improve the machine uptime by continues improvements and Kaizens.
• Engage and review with Production team to drive the TPM activity in the plant.
• To ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Involve in conducting the HIRA and adhere to the schedule .
