Abreast Global is seeking a seasoned Plant Head to lead its Patalganga manufacturing facility near Mumbai. You will oversee end-to-end production for Juices, Beverages, and Dairy lines, aligning manufacturing with supply chain and quality assurance to drive efficiency and cost optimization.

You will champion food safety and quality, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure on-site leadership to scale operations in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Plant Head to lead our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Patalganga (near Mumbai). In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end production lifecycle for our Juices, Beverages, and Dairy product lines, ensuring seamless integration between manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance. You will act as the primary custodian of operational excellence, working closely with cross-functional leadership teams to drive production efficiency, cost optimization, and stringent food safety compliance. By fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement, you will directly influence our market competitiveness and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality for our consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Direct all plant operations, including production scheduling, maintenance, and resource allocation, to ensure production targets are met within defined timelines and budget parameters.
• - Implement rigorous quality control and food safety protocols to ensure 100% compliance with industry regulations and internal quality benchmarks.
• - Optimize supply chain and inventory management processes to minimize waste, reduce lead times, and ensure the availability of raw materials and finished goods.
• - Drive process excellence initiatives by identifying bottlenecks and implementing lean manufacturing techniques to enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• - Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse workforce, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes safety, professional growth, and operational accountability.
• - Manage capital expenditure projects and facility upgrades to ensure the plant remains technologically advanced and capable of scaling with business growth.

Required Skillset:

• - Proven ability to manage large-scale manufacturing operations with a deep understanding of the complexities inherent in the beverage and dairy processing industries.
• - Demonstrated expertise in implementing food safety management systems and maintaining high-level quality certifications in an FMCG environment.
• - Strong analytical capabilities to interpret operational data, manage P&L responsibilities, and make data-driven decisions that impact the bottom line.
• - Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and manage large, multi-disciplinary teams effectively.
• - Excellent communication skills to articulate operational strategies and provide clear guidance to plant staff and corporate leadership.
• - A degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, or Engineering, complemented by a management qualification from a premier institute.
• - High degree of adaptability and a hands-on approach, with the willingness to be based on-site in Patalganga to lead the facility operations directly.
