Job summary

Saya Stationery is seeking an experienced Plant Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations at Rai, Sonipat, Haryana. The role demands hands-on shop-floor leadership, data-driven decisions, and SAP proficiency across production planning, quality, maintenance, and supply chain.

Ideal candidates will have prior Plant Head responsibility for a manufacturing facility, with a track record of improving OEE, cost control, and delivery while developing a high-performance team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Plant Head / Factory Head with independent responsibility for a manufacturing facility.
• Experience managing multiple plant functions and cross-functional teams.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP/ERP in manufacturing operations.
• Sound understanding of production planning, quality, maintenance, inventory management, supply chain and manufacturing cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end plant operations and take ownership of overall manufacturing performance.
• Manage and coordinate Production, PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Purchase, Stores, Inventory, Supply Chain, Dispatch, HR & Administration, EHS and other plant functions.
• Ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining required standards for quality, cost, delivery and safety.
• Drive improvements in OEE, productivity, capacity utilization, manufacturing cost, rejection, rework, wastage and machine downtime.
• Ensure effective production planning, material availability and optimum utilization of manpower, machinery and other plant resources.
• Establish and monitor plant-level and departmental KPIs, MIS and performance reviews.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strengthen preventive and predictive maintenance practices to improve equipment reliability and availability.
• Ensure adherence to quality systems, statutory requirements, factory regulations, EHS standards and company policies.
• Lead, mentor and develop functional heads and plant teams while building a culture of accountability, discipline and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with management and other business functions to align plant performance with organizational objectives.

Saya Stationery is looking for an experienced and hands-on Plant Head to lead the end-to-end operations of our manufacturing facility at Rai, Sonipat, Haryana.

The Plant Head will have overall responsibility for plant performance and will lead cross-functional operations covering Production, Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Purchase, Stores, Inventory, Supply Chain, Dispatch, HR & Administration, and Compliance.

We are looking for a manufacturing leader who combines strong shop-floor execution with data-driven decision‑making, SAP proficiency, cost consciousness and people leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Plant Head – Manufacturing

• Lead end-to-end plant operations and take ownership of overall manufacturing performance.

SAP / ERP Expertise

Strong practical working knowledge of SAP in a manufacturing environment is essential.

The candidate should be comfortable using SAP for areas including:

• Production planning and monitoring
• Material planning and consumption
• Inventory and stores management
• Purchase and procurement coordination
• BOMs and production orders
• Material movements
• Manufacturing data and reporting
• Cost and variance monitoring
• Operational MIS

The Plant Head should be capable of using SAP and operational data to independently review performance, identify issues and support effective management decisions.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience as a Plant Head / Factory Head with responsibility for an entire manufacturing facility.
• Strong experience managing multiple plant functions and cross-functional teams.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of SAP/ERP in manufacturing operations.
• Sound understanding of production planning, quality, maintenance, inventory management, supply chain and manufacturing cost control.
• Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, quality, delivery, cost and overall operational efficiency.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Relevant engineering, technical or manufacturing qualification preferred.

Preferred Industry Experience

Experience in consumer‑product manufacturing is preferred, particularly in industries such as:

Stationery, Toys, Apparel, Electronics, Consumer Durables, Household Products, Plastic Consumer Products, FMCG‑related Manufacturing, or other Consumer Goods.

Experience managing manufacturing operations involving multiple SKUs, high‑volume production, inventory control, quality consistency and cost optimization will be an advantage.
