Job summary

Priyanka Kaur Nandra is seeking a seasoned professional to lead end-to-end rice mill plant operations in Madhya Pradesh, India. The role focuses on production planning, quality control, and achieving productivity targets while coordinating with multiple internal teams.

The candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in rice milling, team leadership, and a strong understanding of process yields, quality parameters and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of relevant experience in rice milling/food processing operations.
• Strong hands-on experience in rice mill plant operations and production management.
• Experience in team handling and plant-level leadership.
• Good understanding of rice milling processes, yield, recovery, grading, sorting and quality parameters.
• Experience in export-quality rice production will be highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and leadership skills.
• Candidates currently working as Plant Head / Factory Head / Unit Head / Senior Production Manager in the rice milling industry will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end rice mill plant operations, including production, processing and packaging.
• Plan and monitor production to achieve quality, quantity and productivity targets.
• Ensure efficient utilization of plant machinery, manpower and resources.
• Monitor paddy-to-rice yield, recovery, wastage and process losses.
• Ensure production of export-quality rice as per required quality standards.
• Supervise milling, grading, sorting, polishing and packaging operations.
• Lead, train and manage plant operations and production teams.
• Monitor plant KPIs, productivity, efficiency, downtime and operational costs.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Dispatch and Sales teams.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, safety and statutory requirements.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost optimization and process efficiency.
• Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of plant machinery in coordination with the maintenance team.
• Maintain proper production records, reports and MIS for management review.
