Qualifications

• P&L management and budget optimization.

Responsibilities

• Direct Facility Operations: Oversee production, packaging, engineering, warehousing, and supply chain functions.
• Optimize Capacity: Schedule production to meet demand while minimizing downtime and cycle times.
• Inventory & Logistics: Coordinate with supply chain teams for raw material intake and finished goods dispatch.
• Audit Readiness: Maintain facilities in inspection-ready state for external regulatory audits.
• Liaison with Government Officials (FDA-like bodies) for smooth operation.
• cGMP Adherence: Ensure processes conform to cGMP and SOPs.
• Data Integrity: Enforce strict data integrity across logs, BPRs, and automation.
• P&L Responsibility: Manage OpEx and CapEx budgets.
• Cost Optimization: Implement cost-saving and efficiency initiatives.
• Safety First: Enforce EHS guidelines to minimise accidents.
• Team Development: Mentor heads, engineers, technicians; manage performance and succession.

Job description

Operational Excellence & Production

• Direct Facility Operations: Oversee all production, packaging, engineering, warehousing, and supply chain functions.
• Optimize Capacity: Execute production schedules to meet commercial demand while minimizing machine downtime and cycle times.
• Inventory & Logistics: Partner with supply chain teams to streamline raw material intake and finished goods dispatch.

Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Audit Readiness: Maintain the facility in a constant state of inspection readiness for external regulatory audits (WHO, CDSCO, FSSAI, local authorities).
• Liaoning: Liaison with the Government Official Like FDA, Food, Labour, Factory Inspector, Pollution, Fire for smooth operation,
• cGMP Adherence: Ensure all manufacturing processes strictly conform to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Data Integrity: Enforce strict data integrity standards across all manufacturing logs, batch production records (BPRs), and automated systems.

Financial & Budgetary Control

• P&L Responsibility: Manage the plants operational expenditure (OpEx) and capital expenditure (CapEx) budgets.
• Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving measures through continuous improvement initiatives, waste reduction, and energy efficiency.

EHS, Leadership & Culture

• Safety First: Foster a culture of zero accidents by strictly enforcing Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines.
• Team Development: Mentor and build a high-performing team of department heads, engineers, and technicians; handle performance management and succession planning.
