Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short-term and long-term operational strategies aligned with company goals.
• Plan and monitor production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of customer requirements.
• Optimize utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Maintain quality standards and enforce SOPs and QC systems.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, statutory, and environmental regulations.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
• Control production costs, minimize waste, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and other CI practices to enhance productivity.
• Mentor and develop production – QC managers, supervisors, engineers, and shop-floor teams.
• Coordinate with inter-departmental teams such as Procurement, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, R&D, and Logistics.
• Define and monitor KPIs (OEE, yield, scrap rate, cost variance, on-time delivery).
• Prepare and manage annual operations budget and CAPEX requirements.
• Lead safety & maintenance initiatives, audits, customer inspections and corrective action programs.
• Monitor operational performance against KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional operational teams.
