Job summary

URC Construction (P) Ltd is seeking an experienced Planning Manager in Visakhapatnam to lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control for large-scale construction projects. Candidates with data centre project experience will have an added advantage.

You will develop and maintain detailed schedules, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive on-time delivery while ensuring budgets and contractual commitments are met. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in project planning and controls in the construction industry.
• Expertise in Primavera P6 and project scheduling methodologies.
• Proven experience managing large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare project baselines, resource plans, and recovery schedules.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Client teams for timely delivery.
• Track milestones, critical paths, and productivity metrics.
• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and progress presentations for management.
• Conduct schedule risk analysis and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and contractual commitments.
• Lead planning reviews and support management decisions with data-driven insights.
