Job summary

Peoplefy Infosolutions is seeking an experienced Assistant Planning Manager for Data Center projects in Mumbai. The role focuses on construction planning, scheduling, and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across design, procurement, and construction stages.

You will develop master and detailed schedules, track progress against baselines, manage risks and changes, and ensure timely delivery of critical milestones in EPC/MEP environments.

Qualifications

• 9-13 years of total experience in construction/project planning.
• Strong planning and scheduling expertise for construction projects.
• Minimum 1 complete Data Center project/cycle; 2+ years Data Center experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Solid understanding of construction sequencing and project controls.
• Experience with EPC/contracting/construction projects is preferred.
• Exposure to MEP/Electrical/Mechanical construction activities is an advantage.

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Planning Manager with strong expertise in construction planning and hands-on Data Center project experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor master and detailed project schedules.
• Plan and sequence design, procurement, construction, installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Track project progress against baseline schedules and identify delays/critical activities.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, contractors, vendors and project stakeholders.
• Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules and schedule updates.
• Support risk identification, mitigation and change management.
• Ensure project timelines and key milestones are achieved.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 9- 13 years of total experience in construction/project planning.
• Relevant experience in planning and scheduling of construction projects.
• Minimum 1 complete Data Center project/cycle, preferably 2+ years of Data Center experience.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 OR MS Project.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project controls.
• Experience with EPC/contracting/construction projects preferred.
• Exposure to MEP / Electrical / Mechanical construction activities will be an advantage.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
