Responsibilities

• Develop and execute production plans to meet customer requirements and business goals.
• Drive material planning, MRP, and inventory optimization.
• Ensure on-time production schedules and maximize plant utilisation.
• Lead SAP PP processes, BOMs, routings, and master data integrity.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality and Projects.
• Monitor PPC KPIs and drive continuous improvements.
• Mentor and develop the PPC team.

Dear Candidate,

We are looking for a seasoned Head Production Planning & Control (PPC) to lead production planning operations and drive manufacturing excellence. The role will be responsible for production scheduling, material planning, inventory optimisation, SAP-driven planning processes, and ensuring on-time delivery while leading a high-performing PPC team.

Location: Dahej, Gujarat

Experience: 10-15 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute production plans to meet customer and business requirements.
• Drive efficient material planning, MRP, and inventory management.
• Ensure production schedule adherence and improve plant utilisation.
• Manage SAP PP processes, BOMs, routings, and master data accuracy.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Project teams.
• Monitor key planning KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the PPC team.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Production Planning & Control within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA PP, MRP, Capacity Planning, and Production Scheduling.
• Sound knowledge of BOM Management, Inventory Control, and Supply Chain Coordination.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Engineering Manufacturing, Capital Equipment, Industrial Machinery, or Process Equipment industry.
• Exposure to Project-based Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of SAP MM, SD, and QM modules.
• APICS/CPIM certification will be an added advantage.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or APICS/CPIM certification preferred.
