TAG Corporation is seeking an Executive - Planning in Chennai to assist in day‑to‑day production planning and control activities. You will track production schedules, monitor raw material availability, and ensure planning documentation and MIS reports are updated in a general engineering environment.

Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day production planning and control activities. The Executive - Planning will support the tracking of production schedules, monitor raw material availability, and ensure that all planning‑related documentation and MIS reports are updated accurately within a general engineering environment.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Monitor the daily production schedule and provide status updates to the planning team.
• Follow up on raw material availability and requirements to ensure continuous production.
• Coordinate with the production floor to ensure tasks are being executed as per the plan.
• Assist in maintaining and updating production records and planning data in the ERP system.
• Prepare daily and weekly MIS reports regarding production status and material status.
• Support the senior planning staff in identifying and resolving production bottlenecks.
• Maintain organized documentation for all planning and procurement follow‑up activities.
• Experience in production and planning within a General Engineering based company.
• Strong follow‑up skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of raw material planning and inventory control.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP environments.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and generate simple MIS reports.
• Effective communication skills for internal team coordination.

Education & Experience:

Education: Diploma / BE or Graduate.

Experience: 1 – 3 years of experience in production planning.

Specific: Practical experience in a general engineering manufacturing environment is required.
