Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 3–8 years of planning experience in civil/construction projects.
• Experience with heavy industry, EPC, steel plants, ports or infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules for civil and structural works.
• Develop baseline schedules, WBS, work programs and look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor actual progress against planned targets and coordinate with site teams.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports and MIS data.
• Coordinate with multiple project teams and subcontractors for progress tracking.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Planning Engineer – Civil with experience in Heavy Industry, EPC, Steel Plant, Port, Industrial or Infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, reporting and coordination with site execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules for civil and structural works.
• Develop baseline schedules, WBS, work programs and look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor actual project progress against planned targets.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Track project milestones and critical activities.
• Identify delays, analyze schedule deviations and support preparation of recovery plans.
• Prepare and update S-curves and progress monitoring reports.
• Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and other project teams.
• Monitor manpower, material and equipment deployment against planned requirements.
• Collect progress data from site teams and update planning schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for progress tracking and reporting.
• Prepare MIS reports for management review.
• Support the Project Manager in achieving project timelines and milestones.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of Civil Construction and Industrial Projects.
• Knowledge of WBS, Critical Path, Baseline Schedule and S-Curve.
• Experience in project progress monitoring and schedule tracking.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work at a project/site location.
