American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a seasoned Marketing Ops professional in Gurgaon, India to own day-to-day lead workflows and coordinate the Global Lead Operations roadmap with Commercials & Tech. You’ll drive routing logic, ensure data quality, and support governance, documentation, and ROI tracking across teams.

The role emphasizes process optimization, automation, and strong written communication, with collaboration across Marketing Growth Ops, Tech, and Governance teams.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in Marketing Ops, Revenue Ops, Sales Ops or similar.
• Experience with Marketing Tech stack including Salesforce, Marketo and SFMC.
• Hands-on with lead workflow/routing tools like LeanData.
• Strong documentation and proactive process improvement mindset.
• Clear written English with cross-functional collaboration exposure.

This role owns day-to-day lead workflows and coordinates the Global Lead Operations roadmap with Commercials & Tech, working closely with the Governance & Planning Lead. You'll be the hands-on operator for our lead routing logic and broader commercial workflows, while also supporting Marketing Growth Ops & Tech's governance and planning initiatives - centralized roadmap, intake process, reporting, and documentation.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate across Commercial teams and tech on lead workflows alignment and rollout (including defining workflows & logic with stakeholders, routing rules, annual workflow aligned to business goals)
• Coordinate, test, and maintain commercial workflows across the Lead-to-Opportunity lifecycle and document workflow logic and changes, keeping the system's source of truth current
• Build and coordinate lead workflows performance reporting to identify routing optimization opportunities and data quality gaps and assist with alignment with Marketing Science on key funnel and performance metrics
• Support governance and ops projects led by the Governance & Planning Lead - centralizing and unifying roadmap inputs across teams (not driving the roadmap independently) to surface optimization opportunities, plus other MarTech governance initiatives
• Handle research, data gathering, and follow-up tasks that keep things moving (e.g. field audits, data validation checks, cross-team follow-ups on open action items)
• Flag blockers, dependencies, and open questions proactively and manage and continuously improve the Marketing Growth Ops & Tech intake process - with a focus on automation and efficiency, not just tracking
• Identify manual steps that can be eliminated or streamlined; propose and implement fixes and own all process documentation for the Marketing Growth Ops & Tech team - SOPs, workflow guides, decision logs, and governance frameworks
• Keep docs current as things evolve, with no prompting needed
• Build and maintain a structured, accessible knowledge base
• Support Marketing Growth Ops & Tech ROI tracking - consolidating data points across tools and initiatives and contribute to the Marketing data dictionary - maintaining field definitions, data lineage, and taxonomy in close collaboration with stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Graduate with 5-7 years of experience in Marketing Ops, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a similar role
• Comfortable working across a Marketing Tech stack - CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation tools (Marketo, SFMC), and similar platforms
• Hands-on experience with lead workflow / routing tools (LeanData or similar)
• Strong documentation instinct - you write things down, keep them current, and make them useful
• Process-oriented and proactive - you spot inefficiencies and act on them
• Clear written communicator in English
• Experience with project management tools (Workfront, Asana, Jira, or similar)
• Familiarity with B2B demand generation and lifecycle concepts is a bonus
