Job summary

Amex GBT seeks an experienced FP&A professional in Gurgaon, India to support the Annual Operating Plan, quarterly Forecasts, and monthly results processes for key corporate teams. You will analyze changes, monitor headcount, and present insights to leadership.

The role requires 6–9 years in accounting/finance with at least 2 years in FP&A or business partnering, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to tell a data-driven story to stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Accounting or Finance degree required with 6–9 years of experience and at least 2 years in FP&A or business partnering.
• Excellent financial and quantitative skills; highly motivated and proactive.
• Ability to tell the story with strong presentation skills and advanced Excel & PowerPoint.
• Strong process definition experience with an automation mentality.
• Understanding of finance and accounting principles with collaboration and influencing skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a flexible, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of travel industry and trends is advantageous.
• Experience with SaaS applications such as Planful, NetSuite, and Workday is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly results process to ensure all required entries are booked, perform variance analysis of results vs AOP or latest forecast, track headcount vs expectations, prepare leadership presentations.
• Call out financial findings and practical insights to finance and/or business management.
• Support Ad-hoc tasks as required.
• Demonstrate and maintain high standards of accountability to deliver quality financial information on a timely manner.

What We're looking for
