Job summary

Risinia Builders in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior QS & Planning Engineer/Assistant Manager with 5+ years of experience in high-rise residential construction. The role focuses on planning, quantity estimation, cost control, billing, progress monitoring, and coordination with project teams.

You will prepare schedules, monitor progress, maintain BOQs and cost reports, coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and ensure timely delivery using Mivan construction methods.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Strong analytical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and meet project deadlines.

1. Role Summary

Risinia Builders is looking for experienced QS & Planning professionals with strong expertise in Mivan construction and high-rise residential building projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, quantity estimation, cost control, billing, progress monitoring, and coordination with project teams.

2. Key Responsibilities Planning

• Prepare and maintain project schedules, work programmes, milestones, and progress trackers.
• Monitor planned versus actual progress and identify delays.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and work sequences.
• Develop recovery plans to meet project deadlines.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor floor cycles, site productivity, and construction progress for high-rise residential projects.

3. Key Responsibilities Quantity Surveying (QS)

• Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, and material estimates from drawings and specifications.
• Verify quantities through drawings, site measurements, and executed-work records.
• Check contractor and subcontractor bills and verify measurements.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, variations, and quantity deviations.

4. Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in QS & Planning.
• Mandatory experience in high-rise residential building construction projects.
• Mandatory hands-on experience in Mivan construction.
• Strong knowledge of Mivan shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, deshuttering, and floor-cycle planning.
• Experience in quantity estimation, billing, project scheduling, progress monitoring, and cost control.

5. Qualifications & Technical Skills

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Strong analytical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
