Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in student placement, preferably IT/ITES.
• Proven track record in bulk/large-scale placements.

• Experience with skilling orgs/institutes/NGOs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end student placement activities for IT & ITES domains.

• Identify new hiring partners and generate placement opportunities PAN India.

• Track placement data, hiring trends and employer feedback.
• Manage and mentor the placement team to achieve targets.

Job Title: Placement Manager – IT & ITES

Reports To: National Placement Head / Program Head

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Placement Manager to lead student placement initiatives for IT & ITES training programs (Data Analytics, AI, Web Designing, etc.). The candidate will be responsible for driving large-scale student placements, building strong corporate partnerships, and managing placement operations across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end student placement activities for IT & ITES domains across College Model programs.
• Develop and implement robust placement strategies to achieve high placement conversion rates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with IT companies, startups, MSMEs, and large corporates.
• Identify new hiring partners and generate placement opportunities across PAN India.
• Drive bulk hiring and large-scale placement campaigns for trained students.
• Collaborate with training teams to align students’ skills with industry requirements.
• Organize campus drives, job fairs, and recruitment events (virtual & offline).
• Track and analyze placement data, hiring trends, and employer feedback.
• Manage and mentor the placement team, ensuring target achievement and productivity.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting in internal systems (e.g., DB/placement trackers).
• Work closely with internal stakeholders (Program, Training, PMO) for smooth execution.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in student placement, preferably in IT & ITES sectors.
• Proven track record in bulk / large-scale student placements.
• Strong network and connections with IT corporates, startups, and placement partners.
• Experience working with skilling organizations / training institutes / NGOs / college programs.
• Excellent understanding of IT roles (Data Analyst, Web Developer, AI/ML, etc.).
• Strong team handling and leadership experience.
• Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA / PGDM in HR or related field.
• Experience in handling multi-location placement operations.
• Exposure to government/CSR-funded skilling projects (preferred).
