Job summary

SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is seeking a Placement Executive to coordinate end-to-end placement activities for students and build strong corporate partnerships. You will oversee campus recruitment drives, career guidance, and industry collaborations to enhance student employability.

The role requires extensive interaction with corporate partners, faculty in-charge, and placement committees, ensuring timely execution of all processes and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• MBA (2-year full-time) in Marketing / HR.
• Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent GPA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage end-to-end placement activities for students.
• Identify students’ employment interests and provide career guidance support.
• Liaise with corporate organizations for internships, live projects, and placements.
• Represent the institution at professional, corporate, and career planning forums.
• Coordinate with students, faculty in-charge, and placement committees for smooth execution of placement processes.
• Organize and manage campus recruitment drives and interviews.
• Prepare placement brochures, reports, and presentations with student committees.
• Maintain placement databases and records.
• Facilitate lateral and final placements for students.
• Visit industries to build and strengthen industry partnerships.
• Develop interfaces for training programs, CEO series, corporate projects, and industry visits.

The Placement Executive will be responsible for managing and coordinating all placement-related activities for students. The role involves building strong relationships with corporate partners, facilitating campus recruitment processes, and supporting students in career planning and employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Educational Qualifications

• MBA (2-year full-time) in Marketing / Human Resources from a leading national or international management school.
• Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent GPA from a recognized university.

Professional Certifications

• Certifications in Marketing, HR, Talent Management, or Leadership will be an added advantage

Professional Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing and Human Resources.
• Experience in the education sector/institutions or service sector will be preferred.
• Prior placement experience at Institutes of National/International repute will be an added advantage
