Job summary

Orion is seeking a Placement Coordinator to manage end-to-end student placement activities for IT and Cyber Security programs. This role builds strong corporate relations, coordinates job openings and drives, and matches student profiles with suitable IT opportunities.

The candidate should understand industry requirements, maintain recruiter databases, and work toward meeting placement targets through effective coordination with students and employers.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate in IT/CS or a related background.
• Good knowledge of Cyber Security.
• Understanding of IT industry recruitment needs and employer expectations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate/Postgraduate from an IT, Computer Science, or related background.
• Must have good knowledge of Cyber Security.
• Knowledge of BSI (British Standards Institution) will be preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in Placement, Corporate Relations, or IT-related roles preferred.
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship-management skills.
• Good understanding of IT industry requirements and recruitment processes.
• Ability to coordinate with students, companies, and recruiters effectively.
• Target-oriented and capable of achieving placement goals.
