The role focuses on networking with IT and semiconductor employers, organizing alumni events, and guiding students through resumes and interview techniques, with a preference for candidates who already have strong industry connections.

Qualifications

• 5-15 years of proven experience in building an industry network and placing students in IT.
• Strong existing IT and semiconductor sector connections preferred.
• Ability to analyze industry requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain employer partnerships to create employment opportunities for Maven students and alumni.
• Identify new employers to develop partnerships and placements matching career interests.
• Support students with resume writing and interview techniques via internal trainers.
• Engage with business/industry to develop reciprocal job and internship opportunities.

Job description

Role & responsibilities :

1. Build a rapport with the existing employers & team up to generate employment opportunities for Maven students and alumni by establishing and maintaining productive employer partnerships.
2. Identify and build a network of new employers to develop partnerships and placements and help students identify employment options that match their career interests.
3. Assist students in all aspects of the job search including resume writing, and interviewing techniques with the help of internal business communication trainers.
4. Contact business and industry to develop reciprocally beneficial partnerships for jobs and internship opportunities.

Preferred candidate profile

1. 5-15 years of solid experience in building a network in the industry with a proven track record in achieving targets of placing students in the IT industry
2. Candidate with excellent existing connections with the IT industry / Semiconductor industry is preferred
3. Ability to analyze requirements in the industry
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Experience in building and maintaining the Alumni network (Preferred)
6. Experience in organizing corporate and alumni events (Preferred)
