Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in campus placements, corporate relations, talent acquisition, with leadership/supervisory exposure.

Responsibilities

• Employer liaison & corporate coordination: interface between university and employers; manage recruiter communication; prepare JNFs; coordinate placement lifecycle.
• Job mapping & opportunity alignment: match student profiles with opportunities based on skills, eligibility, and career interests.
• Placement process & interview support: guide students through interviews and selection processes; coordinate and provide structured assistance.
• Market research & opportunity identification: track job market trends and recruiter requirements to identify opportunities and inform planning.
• Feedback management & process improvement: collect and document feedback from recruiters, panellists, and students; maintain records.
• Placement event planning & execution: plan and oversee campus drives, pre-placement talks and recruitment processes.
• Career readiness workshops: conduct resume building, interview skills, and job-readiness sessions.
• POD compliance & data governance: ensure POD documentation, data sharing with recruiters, and adherence to protocol.
• Local industry outreach & micro-engagements: plan localized outreach, small meets, expand regional employer engagement.
• TPO networking & institutional collaboration: build relationships with TPOs across institutions to share opportunities.

KRA for the role

• Employer Liaison & Corporate Coordination: To act as the primary interface between the university and employers by managing recruiter communication, preparing Job Notification Forms (JNFs), and ensuring smooth coordination throughout the placement lifecycl
• Job Mapping & Opportunity Alignment: To effectively match student profiles with suitable job opportunities based on skills, eligibility, and career interests, ensuring accurate data mapping and role alignmen
• Placement Process & Interview Support: To support students through interviews and selection processes by providing guidance, coordination, and structured assistance to enhance selection success rate
• Market Research & Opportunity Identification: To track and analyse emerging job market trends and recruiter requirements to identify new placement opportunities and inform placement plannin
• Feedback Management & Process Improvement: To collect, consolidate, and document structured feedback from recruiters, panellists, and students, discuss insights internally, and maintain records on shared platforms for continuous process improvemen
• Placement Event Planning & Execution: To plan and oversee the end-to-end execution of placement-related events including campus drives, pre-placement talks, and recruitment process.
• s.Career Readiness Workshops: To conduct and coordinate workshops on resume building, interview skills, and job-readiness competencies to improve student preparedness for recruitmen
• POD Compliance & Data Governance: To ensure complete compliance with Placement Office Documentation (POD) by managing event publishing as per JNF, secure data sharing with recruiters, and adherence to institutional protocol
• Local Industry Outreach & Micro-Engagements: To plan and execute localized industry outreach initiatives, including small meets and interactions, to expand employer engagement at the regional leve
• TPO Networking & Institutional Collaboration: To build and maintain professional associations with Training and Placement Officers (TPOs) across institutions within and around the city to share opportunities and best practice

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Master’s degree preferred (MBA/PGDM in HR, Marketing, or related discipline)
• Bachelor’s degree with significant relevant experience may be considered

Experience

Typically 5–10 years of experience in:

• Campus placements / Corporate relations
• Talent acquisition / HR
• Minimum 2–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
