The Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering rehabilitation programs to improve patients mobility, physical function, recovery, and overall quality of life.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients physical conditions and rehabilitation requirements.
  • Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation interventions.
  • Manage orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical rehabilitation cases.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and caregivers regarding exercise programs and recovery plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient assessment and treatment records.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Utilize physiotherapy equipment and therapeutic modalities safely.
  • Promote mobility, pain management, and functional independence.
  • Support preventive healthcare and wellness initiatives.
  • Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care programs.
  • Ensure compliance with patient-safety and infection-control standards.
  • Conduct patient education and awareness sessions.
  • Assist in rehabilitation of transplant, cardiac, and critical-care patients when required.
  • Participate in quality-improvement and clinical-audit activities.
  • Maintain physiotherapy equipment and treatment areas.
  • Stay updated with evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Rehabilitation Manager.
