Job summary

Engineering Creations Public Health Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai is seeking a focused MEP Design Engineer to develop detailed plumbing and fire fighting systems for commercial and residential buildings.

You will perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and prepare design documents for tendering and execution. The role requires 1–2 years of MEP design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT, and the ability to coordinate with architects and clients to ensure timely, compliant project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of MEP design experience in commercial and residential buildings.
• Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT software.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for plumbing and fire fighting systems, including water supply, drainage, vent systems, rainwater harvesting, pump rooms, firefighting systems (sprinklers, standpipes, hydrants, hose reels), and associated equipment.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, pressure loss analysis, and equipment selection to ensure system efficiency and code compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including layouts, schematics, technical specifications, and reports in accordance with relevant local and international codes and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documentation such as bills of quantities, material specifications, and scope of work for plumbing and fire fighting systems.
• Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines to integrate plumbing and fire fighting systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
• Conduct regular reviews and quality checks of design deliverables to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with project requirements.
• Carry out site inspections as necessary to assess existing conditions, verify installation quality, and ensure adherence to approved designs and specifications.
• Manage plumbing and fire fighting design components from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Participate in interdisciplinary coordination meetings to address technical issues and support smooth project execution.
