Aedium Design in Bengaluru (Bangalore) seeks a PHE/Fire CAD Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join its MEP team. You will draft PHE and fire protection drawings, create layouts for plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems, and ensure designs meet local and international codes.

Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop coordinated MEP drawings and maintain precise drawing documentation for large-scale corporate, residential, and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in PHE/Fire CAD drafting for large-scale projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
• Familiarity with NFPA, NBC and IPC codes and standards.

Responsabilités

• Develop detailed PHE and fire protection drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software.
• Prepare layouts for plumbing, drainage, rainwater harvesting, firefighting, and gas supply systems.
• Create coordinated MEP drawings, integrating PHE/fire systems with HVAC and electrical services.

Job Description

Drafting & Design:

• Develop detailed PHE and fire protection drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software.
• Prepare layouts for plumbing, drainage, rainwater harvesting, firefighting, and gas supply systems.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant local and international codes (e.g., NFPA, NBC, IPC).
• Create coordinated MEP drawings, integrating PHE/fire systems with HVAC and electrical services.

Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with MEP engineers to interpret and translate design concepts into working drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines for seamless integration of services.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Review and revise drawings based on engineer feedback, client requirements, and site conditions.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all drafting work.
• Maintain organized drawing documentation for easy reference and revisions.
