Job summary

ASSYSTEM in India is seeking an experienced BIM engineer to develop 3D BIM models for plumbing and fire fighting systems using Revit and AutoCAD MEP. You will collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate integration of PHE and FF systems into building models.

You will create and maintain project content libraries, perform clash detection, generate quantity take-offs, and prepare 2D drawings from 3D models while ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering with at least 10 years of BIM experience for PHE/FF systems.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD MEP.
• Experience in 3D BIM coordination and clash detection.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D BIM models for plumbing and fire fighting systems using Revit/AutoCAD MEP.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure integrated PHE/FF systems in building models.
• Create and maintain content libraries for PHE and FF components.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve model conflicts.
• Generate quantity take-offs and material schedules from BIM models.
• Prepare 2D drawings and documentation from 3D models.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations in model development.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers.
• Assist in developing and maintaining BIM standards and best practices.

• Develop 3D BIM models for plumbingand fire fighting systems using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD MEP).
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate integration of PHE and FF systems into overall building models.

• Perform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve conflicts in the model.
