Assystem is seeking an experienced BIM Engineer in India to develop 3D BIM models for plumbing and fire protection systems. You will ensure accurate integration of PHE and FF components within overall building models and contribute to project success through precise clash detection and documentation.

The role involves creating libraries, generating material schedules, and aligning with codes and project standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma with 10+ years of BIM experience is required.
• Strong hands-on experience with PHE/FF systems modelling in BIM workflows.

Responsabilités

• Develop 3D BIM models for plumbing and fire fighting systems using Revit and AutoCAD MEP.
• Collaborate with project teams to accurately integrate PHE and FF systems into building models.
• Create and maintain project-specific BIM content libraries for PHE and FF components.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve conflicts in the model.
• Generate quantity take-offs and material schedules from BIM models.
• Prepare 2D drawings and documentation derived from 3D models.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and project standards in model development.
• Support BIM standards and best practices across projects.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Develop 3D BIM models for plumbingand fire fighting systems using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD MEP).
2. Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate integration of PHE and FF systems into overall building models.
3. Create and maintain project-specific content libraries for PHE and FF components.
4. Perform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve conflicts in the model.
5. Generate accurate quantity take-offs and material schedules from BIM models.
6. Prepare 2D drawings and documentation derived from 3D models.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations in model development.
8. Participate in project meetings and coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers as needed.
9. Assist in developing and maintaining BIM standards and best practices for the organization.
10. Support the creation of construction and fabrication drawings based on BIM models.
11. Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes and workflows.
12. Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and industry trends related to PHE and FF systems.
