Job summary

Zydus Hospitals in Gujarat seeks a Hospital Inventory & Materials Manager to oversee stock levels, ensure timely processing of receipts and invoices, and maintain HMIS records.

The role involves coordinating inward and outward materials, managing expiry products, narcotics as per guidelines, and ensuring accurate stock verification and GRN alignment.

Qualifications

• Maintains inventories to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
• Process invoices and GRNs against purchase orders.
• Maintain stock register and expiry monitoring on a monthly/quarterly basis.

Responsibilities

• Handle inward and outward material routing through Stores.
• Accurate receipt of consignments and processing of invoices.
• Stock transfer into HMIS for respective departments.
• Physical stock verification and handling of narcotics as per guidelines.
• Check expiry before dispensing medicines.

Job description

• Responsiblefor maintaining inventories on system at the levels set as per the judgment ofsupply chain ensuring that there is no overstocking or stock out, as nomedicine requisition is denied or delayed.
• Responsibleperson for smooth function of CIOD of the hospitals.
• Responsiblefor the all departments inwards in terms of any materials, consumables,products etc. are to be routed through him.
• Responsiblefor all the departments outwards in terms of any materials, consumables,products etc. are to be routed through him.
• Responsiblefor the performance in terms of achieving complete customer satisfaction withprompt and accurate delivery of medication.
• Takingcare of all expiry products on the monthly basis so that it can be taken outform the inventory on the quarterly basis.
• Observingand if required rejecting from the stock all the non-moving products.
• Responsiblefor tracking new drugs.
• Maintainstock register.
• Issue & Return of Material againstPatient indents from Stores
• Issue & Return of Material againstDepartmental indents
• Direct Issue of material to Patient
• Issue of Narcotics drugs as perguideline of Prohibition & Excise Act.
• Receiving the material at Receiving Bay & Processing of invoices after verifying the products as per the invoice interms of quantity, rate, amount, expiry if any matching with purchase order.
• Responsible for the all valid bills,challan, GRN to be prepared.
• Responsible for proper receipts ofmaterials as per the terms & conditions of the orders placed.
• Stock transfer into the HMIS softwareon the base of the prepared GRN, for respective departments.
• Receipt of consignment goods &Processing their Invoices on Consumption
• Physical Stock Verification
• Sale & return of material in IP/ OPPharmacy
• Checking expires of medicine beforedispensing to patients
