Responsibilities

• Handle range of prescriptions for both Semi-controlled and un-controlled drugs in the hospital.
• Maintain the records for semi-control drugs.
• Supervise the dispensing of drugs through Asst. Pharmacy.
• Handle stocks in the pharmacy.
• Data entry for stock purchase.
• Weekly expiry date cross-checks for drugs.
• Narcotic handling and narcotic indents management.
• Narcotic register updating and emergency issue book updating.
• Double check LASA/high risk meds during dispensing.
• Receive goods from vendors and forward invoices to Purchase.
• Arrange goods to racks and manage ward indents.
• Near expiry checks and coordination with departments.
• Provide dosage counseling and ensure correct medication to patients.
• Regular checks to minimize stock-outs.
