Job summary

Kumaran Systems is hiring a Performance Tester to design, develop, and execute performance tests using Apache JMeter and NeoLoad for web, mobile, and API applications. You will analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and Infra teams.

The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of hands-on performance testing, strong scripting, and experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, Grafana, and Prometheus, plus CI/CD exposure.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Performance Testing.
• Strong expertise in Apache JMeter and NeoLoad.
• Experience in API Performance Testing (REST/SOAP).
• Knowledge of workload modeling, test scenario design, and performance engineering concepts.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, Splunk, or Prometheus.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database performance analysis.
• Understanding of web technologies, application architecture, and cloud environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using Apache JMeter and NeoLoad.
• Perform Load, Stress, Endurance, Spike, and Scalability Testing for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Analyze performance test results and identify system bottlenecks.
• Monitor application, server, database, and network metrics during test execution.
• Work closely with Development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
• Prepare detailed performance test reports with findings and recommendations.
• Integrate performance testing activities into CI/CD pipelines.
• Estimate performance testing effort and provide test planning inputs.

Job Title: Performance Tester (JMeter & NeoLoad)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant performance testing certifications are an added advantage.
