Job summary

Viraaj HR Solutions Private Limited is seeking a performance testing professional to design, implement, and run load and stress tests for enterprise applications using industry-standard tools.

The candidate will identify bottlenecks across tiers (API, database, network) and provide actionable insights to improve reliability and throughput, while integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and mentoring junior testers.

Qualifications

• Must-have performance testing tools and API testing expertise.
• Experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, and Apache Bench.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (New Relic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
• Experience CI/CD integration and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts to simulate real user traffic and stress scenarios.
• Identify bottlenecks across application tiers and collaborate with dev/ops teams to resolve them.
• Configure and manage test environments including cloud and on-prem setups.
• Generate detailed performance reports with actionable insights: response times, throughput, errors, resources.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines for shift-left validation.
• Advocate best practices and mentor junior testers on tooling and methodology.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using industry-standard tools to simulate real user traffic and stress scenarios.
• Identify performance bottlenecks across application tiers—network, server, API, database and collaborate with dev/ops teams to resolve them.
• Configure and manage test environments, including cloud and on-prem setups, to mirror production architecture accurately.
• Generate detailed performance test reports with actionable insights, including response times, throughput, error rates, and resource utilization.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable shift-left testing and continuous performance validation.
• Advocate performance best practices across engineering teams and mentor junior testers on tooling and methodology.
