Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services in Chennai seeks a performance testing engineer to design, implement, and optimize performance test automation for hybrid applications. You will work with JMeter, LoadRunner, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, and cloud-native tools.

Strong programming/scripting skills (Java, JavaScript, Python) and experience with Docker/Kubernetes, AWS and Azure are required. Collaboration and communication are essential to drive automation adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience in performance testing/engineering hybrid apps.
• Proficient with profiling tools (JProfiler, Dynatrace, Android Studio, XCode).
• Experience in AWS/Azure monitoring and related DevOps tools.
• Solid experience with AppDynamics, Splunk, JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experience building and enhancing performance test automation frameworks.
• Experience conducting performance audits and test processes.
• Hands-on with configuring JMeter and similar tools.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud-native development.
• Exposure to programming and scripting (Java, JavaScript, Python).
• Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira & Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance testing and engineering for hybrid apps.
• Profile applications using JProfiler, Dynatrace, and related tools.
• Monitor with AWS and Azure monitoring services and DevOps tools.
• Build and enhance perf test automation frameworks and suites.
• Conduct performance audits and improve test processes.
• Configure and tune JMeter and similar tools.
• Leverage Docker, Kubernetes and cloud-native frameworks.
• Program and script in Java, JavaScript or Python.
• Collaborate with teams to drive automation adoption.

JD:

• Experience in performance testing/engineering hybrid apps
• Experience with profiling tools (any) such as JProfiler, Dynatrace, Android Studio and XCode etc
• Experience in AWS & Azure Monitoring, Key Services and related DevOps tools
• Solid Experience with tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, (any) JMeter, LoadRunner (Any)
• Experience in building/developing and enhancing Performance Test Automation Framework and Test Suites
• Experience in conducting Performance audits for overall application performance and test processes
• Hands-on experience in configuring JMeter (and similar tools)
• Experience with running Docker, Kubernetes and Cloud native development frameworks
• Exposure to Programming and scripting language skills (Java, JavaScript Framework(React, Angular etc),Python
• Experience using tools like Azure DevOps, Jira & Confluence(or similar)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
