Job summary

Quest Global in Chennai is seeking an experienced Performance Testing Engineer to drive end-to-end performance initiatives. You will own tests, design scripts, and run thorough assessments across applications, aggregating data from AppDynamics, Grafana and Kibana to provide actionable insights.

The role requires expertise in JMeter, LoadRunner and cloud monitoring (AWS CloudWatch), with programming in Java or Python to build robust test frameworks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in performance testing across web apps and services.
• Ability to own end-to-end performance testing projects from plan to delivery.
• Strong knowledge of load testing, monitoring, profiling, and bottleneck identification.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end performance testing projects and ensure on-time delivery.
• Gather requirements, design tests, and develop automated scripts.
• Analyze results, generate reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Work Experience

• Advanced JMeter skills (Groovy/JSR223/Web HTTP/Selenium Web Driver)
• Monitoring experience and building dashboards in AppDynamics, Grafana ,Kibana
• Experience working with AWS cloud monitoring(Cloudwatch)
• Experience on Client side performance testing using Lighthouse/Sitespeed
• In-depth knowledge in performance testing process
• Should be able to own and complete performance testing projects E2E
• Hands on experience on Requirements gathering, test design, Script development, test executions , analysis and reporting.
• Experience in Load runner
• Programming experience in SQL & Java/Python or any other programming language
• Should be able to adapt to changing technologies and tools
