Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in K6, JMeter, CI/CD implementation, and monitoring tools. The ideal candidate should have experience in performance engineering, cloud environments, automation, and observability platforms. Exposure to AI tools such as ChatGPT and prompt engineering will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests.
- Create and maintain performance test scripts using K6 and JMeter.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze application performance bottlenecks and provide tuning recommendations.
- Work closely with development, DevOps, and cloud teams for performance optimization.
- Configure and monitor application performance using monitoring and observability tools.
- Prepare detailed performance test reports and dashboards.
- Support production performance monitoring and troubleshooting activities.
- Automate repetitive testing and monitoring activities using Python and shell scripting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in K6 and JMeter.
- Expertise in CI/CD implementation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring/observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, ELK, or New Relic.
- Good understanding of Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Good hands-on experience in Python scripting.
- Strong Unix/Linux command-line knowledge.
- Experience in performance engineering and bottleneck analysis.
Good to Have
- Exposure to ChatGPT tools or Prompt Engineering.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker/Kubernetes.
- Experience working in microservices architecture.
- Understanding of DevOps and SRE practices.
