Job summary

Artech L.L.C. in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Performance Tester with 8-11 years of IT experience to join our testing practice.

You will lead performance testing efforts using JMeter and other tools, design frameworks, analyze results, and guide teams through capacity planning and risk mitigation. The role requires strong communication, hands-on testing across the SDLC, and the ability to adapt to fast-paced projects.

Qualifications

• 8–11 years of IT experience with Performance Testing expertise.
• Expertise in capacity planning and debugging application/infrastructure performance problems.
• Experience with monitoring tools, correlating and analyzing test results.
• Contributed to design and implementation of frameworks.
• Performance testing with JMeter, Stress Stimulus; knowledge of Gatling, LoadRunner.
• Identify/validate test objectives and define test approach aligned to business requirements.
• Develop scripts and models for workloads and execute tests across environments.
• Able to articulate risks to the business and communicate results clearly.
• Prepare detailed test cases and log defects with steps to reproduce.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled resource having 8-11 years of IT experience with expertise in Performance Testing and should also have below technical skills:

• Experience and Knowledge of performance testing and analytical tools.
• Experience in capacity panning with in depth knowledge of identifying and debugging application/infrastructure performance problems.
• Experience on monitoring tools, corelating and analysing test results to logical conclusions.
• Contribution to design and implementation of framework(s)
• Performance Tester with JMeter , Stress Stimulus
• Good to have: Gatling, K6 and LoadRunner
• Identify/validate test objectives and define test approach for its implementation to align tests by interpreting business requirements.
• Implement test approach with workload modelling and develop scripts using required techniques.
• Test executions and understand issues for troubleshooting.
• Able to articulate, flag and communicate risk to the business.
• Review test results and establish hypothesis to draw conclusions by providing in-depth result interpretation.
• Execute the tests in multiple environments as per the plan.

The Person-

• Experience across the various facets of the SDLC process with a specific focus on QA, test strategy and execution.
• Hands-on experience with variety of testing tools, Manual functional testing with agile and scrum methodology.
• Experience developing overall test strategy and plans for complex system implementations including a variety of technologies and design patterns.
• Experience in Functional Testing/Integration Testing/Regression Testing/System Testing/ E2E Testing and Acceptance Testing
• Should have expertise in preparing detailed Test Cases, writing Test Scripts by decomposing Business Requirements, Test Scenarios and Test execution.
• Good knowledge of STLC, Black box test techniques & methodologies.
• Experience with defect management applications like HP ALM, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Document test results including logging bugs with detailed steps to reproduce for development team.
• Identify and implement test tools for functional, regression and performance testing including automation frameworks/harness.
• Must be flexible to work on any project requirements and work timings.
• Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and /or functionality.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills to executive management on testing activities and issues.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
• Test issues troubleshooting and guidance to peers and juniors.
