Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad is seeking a Performance Engineering specialist focused on LoadRunner to design, execute and analyze load tests for banking domain projects.

You will independently analyze requirements, develop Vugen scripts in Java and C, monitor production-like metrics, and coordinate with development teams to triage issues.

The role emphasizes deep OS, storage, network understanding and cloud infra concepts to reproduce and fix performance bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience using LoadRunner and awareness of APM tools (AppDynamics/Dynatrace/New Relic).
• Ability to work independently through requirement analysis, design, execution and result analysis phases.
• Develop customized codes in Java & C for optimizing Vugen scripts.
• Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for issue triaging and fixes.
• Understand OS internals, file systems, storage, networking; familiar with Cloud infra.

Role : Performance Engineering - Load Runner

Experience : 4 to 10 Years

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

• Good experience using Performance Test tool LoadRunner and understanding of APM tools like AppDynamics/Dynatrace/New Relic, etc.
• Should have ability to work independently in Requirement analysis, designing, execution & result analysis phase.
• Develop customized codes in Java & C language for optimizing and enhancing Vugen scripts.
• Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for issue triaging & bug fixes.
• Good understanding of different OS internals, file systems, disk/storage, networking protocols and other latest technologies like Cloud infra.
• Monitor/extract production performance statistics and apply the same model in the test environments with higher load to uncover performance issues.
• Must have experience in monitoring DB and highlight performance issues.
• Experience working on Finance – Banking domain projects. LoadRunner -HTTP/HTML/Webservices protocol/Java Protocol, .
